Mathematics Department was started with the opening of the college in year 1991. At the beginning, Mr. G. G. Rajput was only a man working in the Department. From 02.08.1993, Mr. H. S. Bhosale joined the Department. Mr. G. G. Rajput left the Department, as he got an appointment at the Government College, Aland. Since then Department has two members, Mr. U. R. Birajdar worked in the Department for 1994 – 95 and 1995 – 96 academic years. After that Mr. J. A. Nanware has joined the Department on 14.10.1996.Mrs. ArchitaMalge and Mrs. Sarita Mahajan contributed to the Department as CHB faculty. Mr. KalimShanediwan is working on contract basis as Assistant Professor.
The notable achievement of the Department is, the student Mr. ShahurajSudhakarYewate stood second rank in March/April 1997 at Dr. BabasahebAmbedkarMarathwada University, Aurangabad. He is working as Junior Engineer at Thermal Power Station, Parali (V). Also Mrs. Poonam ShashikantKadere has got gold medal in Mathematics for taking highest marks in Mathematics in March/April 2016.
