Research and Development Cell
Research is the backbone of Higher Education. Knowledge Management support must help people to identify and avail the opportunities for collaboration and sharing of knowledge, skills and best practices. Equip every faculty member with the latest skills or expertise in research, by organizing training programmes that may seem a challenging task. Similarly, every teacher educator may not be able to participate in all the training programmes organized. This process can result in the uneven acquisition of expertise by the various faculty members. The institution thus devised a mechanism whereby sharing of expertise would enrich, enhance and help every faculty member to grow to the optimum.
Thus the Research and Development Cell was established, with the objective of motivating and empowering every faculty member –
- To take up research projects of National Organizations like RUSA, UGC, ICSSR, CSR and the University.
- To publish their research papers in Journals of National and International repute,
- To present research-based papers at National and International Seminars/Conferences.
1. Research Activities
The College Research and Development Cell undertakes various research-based activities for honing research skills among the faculty and the research students:
a) Conducting Pre-Ph.D Programme for Research Students enrolled for Ph.D. The programme across universities.
b) Research Paper Presentation Competitions
c) Arranging internal RAC meetings
d) Arranging Ph.D Viva
e) Intellectual Sharing where the faculty is motivated to share the new knowledge/skills/expertise gained with other faculty members.
f) To provide expert consultancy in research.
