About IQAC

The NAAC’s advocacy of establishment of IQAC by every accredited institution as a post accreditation measure is the first step towards institutionalization and internalization. As a part of post accreditation Initiative College has established Internal Quality Assurance Cell on 24/08/2004 as per the directives of NAAC to promote quality of the institution.
IQAC is well acquainted with its role to improve and assure quality in all academic and related activities of the institution. The IQAC monitors academic performances and evaluation systems, feedback, and the teaching-learning process. It maintains academic coordination and promotes research among teachers and students. policies of the institution are designed by IQAC in consultation with the college development committee and management council time to tike to keep pace with changing times.

To build and ensure a quality culture with conscious, reliable and transparent efforts through a combination of self and external quality evaluation, promotion and sustenance initiatives.

Mission

  • To channelize and systematize the efforts and measures towards academic excellence
  • To be the driving force for escorting in quality to remove deficiencies and enhance quality
  • To encourage departments to establish student Learning-centric environment to use ICT tools for teaching and learning process and to inculcate value–based education system.
  • To encourage Departments to organize Seminars, Workshops, Orientation and Faculty Development Program
  • To assess the annual progress of Departments and the University through timely internal and external audit
  • To ensure an effective and transparent operations to achieve excellence in Academic, Administrative and Financial activities
  • To develop an Institutional data base and documentation of the various activities leading to quality improvement
  • To ensure the adequacy, timely maintenance and smooth functioning of the support structure
  • To build association with stakeholders and to stimulate Social Responsibility

Objectives

  • To fulfill the vision and mission of the university in the light of its quality policy
  • To develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of university Departments.
  • To promote measures for functioning of entire university towards quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture and implementation of best practices.
  • To implement sustainable Quality Management System ( viz. ISO, NIRF, NAAC, NBA etc) to enhance Quality in Education
  • To ensure an enhancement and integration among the various activities of the university and institutionalize many good practices.
